Why Didn’t I Get a Leak Alert?

There is no single answer to this question, so please refer to this list of possible causes:

  • The base rate of the leak did not exceed the leak threshold for 24 consecutive hours.
  • The duration of the continuous flow event (the potential leak) was less than 24 hours from its start time to the time flow dropped to zero.
  • While the leak lasted 24 consecutive hours, flow dropped to zero before your meter transmitted that information to the system. This resulted in no leak being detected.
  • No leak alert was set during the time that the leak occurred.
